(This page is here to help remind me how to program my Yaesu handheld radios when I’m not near the programming software. Getting old, I guess.)
To Store a Simplex Frequency:
- In VFO mode select the frequency you wish to store
- Press and HOLD the [*V/M] button (the next blank memory will be displayed)
- Press the Alpha/Numeric keys to create a tag for the memory
- Press and HOLD the [*V/M] button again to store the freq and settings to memory
- “MEM-IN” will display and blink twice, accompanied with a beep confirming storage
